Employers of household service employees may elect to file and pay the Virginia income tax withheld from their employees’ salaries on an annual basis, at the same time they submit the employees’ Forms W-2 for the year.   • U.S. citizens and permanent residents may submit Form W-4, both Federal and State, in order to enable the University to withhold the correct amount of tax from their paycheck.

What tax documents do I need from employer?

You'll get a Form W-2 from your employer or employers if you worked a regular job. If you had multiple employers during the year, you'll receive one from each of them.
